Fascinating.

Stated another way, what that means is this:

1 out of 10 Republicans do not say that Bush is doing a good job.

1 out of 4, or 1 out of 5, Democrats do not say that Bush is doing a good job.

And the current registration is roughly 33-34% (forget which way) with about 33% independent.

Partisan gap indeed it is. Yet it is a strong portent for a huge Bush victory in 2004.
