T., in an earlier post you mentioned you expected Glaxo/Biota anti-flu product would be approved before Aviron. Biota expects to file in late 1998. Can you give me a date for Aviron?

The mutation rate of the virus seems to me to be an important strike against Aviron. Also the fact that any flu vaccine will get a bad rap when people get sick after having been immunized. They may be getting sick from something other than flu, but, if it feels like flu, they'll be disappointed in the vaccine. Biota is working on a diagnostic kit.
