... what else could he do ...

Bugs Pond (our hero!) reached into his Super-Hero backpack and pulled out the December issue of Cosmopolitan. You might be wondering what a women's magazine was doing in a male super-hero's backpack. But, that's not important right now. Anyway, he handed the magazine to Muffy, knowing full well that she would be mesmerized by the touched up pictures of the models in it. In no time at all, she was ooh-ing and aah-ing.

Now that Muffy was safely entertained, Bugs did what he had to do. What his super-hero training had taught him. He had to check in before "The Agency" got worried.

He knew that "Super-Hero Central" had been tracking his every move by monitoring the signal emanating from the micro-chip embedded in his bicuspid. They track all super-heros, of course. Just in case ...

He pulled out his M35 (that's a Mobile Comm station, you know). Gosh, that super-hero backpack sure stored a lot of useful stuff! He extended the M35's antenna and flipped the power button. While he was waiting for the signal to synch, he noticed a large structure on the hill off to his left, about a mile away.

"Hmmmm ... I wonder what that is?", muttered Bugs.

"NO SIGNAL" appeared on the M35's screen. "Sigh...", sighed Bugs.

He pulled out his mini-scope (Model X31) and zero'd in on that structure.
