UN vote sends fence discussion to int'l court

From the article: "Nevertheless, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom have decided to cooperate with the ICJ and to present Israel's position that the fence's construction is a legal self-defense act in the face of Palestinian terror."

Hey Lorne. This might turn out to be a blessing for Israel. This is going to be a great forum to discuss Israel's right to defensible borders, as stated by the United Nations, itself.

The West Bank and Gaza are disputed territories, but with the UN insisting that Israel be given defensible borders, Israel could turn this around. Israel needs to put it's best lawyers on this.

I am just hoping that Israel will be given enough time to present it's case to the world. Israel would win in any fair court.
