Oh boy victor you found the "in" thread. OK what is your post trying to say!! I can't figure it out.

They claim all the stressed out working moms/women out there are becoming personally fulfilled and empowered through ther work, and achieving freedom from the bondage and imprisonment of motherhood.

I am not disagreeing with this, I actually don't know any other way. I have kids off and on myself and of course I also work. My mother worked and I have a work ethic, I think I am instilling it in them. No way to tell. When they are with me things are hectic but of course we are talking about 3 kids age 6-9 so thats a lot.

My point is that there are TONS of stay at homes out here. Stay at home moms and dads, basically it comes down to whoever is unemployed or a "consultant". Its not like you feel ashamed to stay at home with kids here. Where is the pressure coming from? If its economic, you can hardly blame feminism for that.
