I guess I assumed that some 'return to balance' or normalcy was achieved after an adjustment period... I see now you were pretty much talking the 'ledger' or finance... not spiritual life.

IMO it's quite clear that the industrialized society has created more disconnectedness [despite the wonderful internet!] using any definition of spirituality.

Exactly... or attention of siblings, or grandparents, or friends. Maybe a new SUV will do the trick? LOL
