Bill, I'm glad you mentioned this. In the "FWIW" department, one of my wife's brothers is a very gifted woodworker who lives, with his family, not far from Crawford, Tx. He's a genuine craftsman. He did the kitchen cabinets and other parts of the Bush home. We have a very nice picture of him (he is very shy) with the Pres and Laura at their housewarming. Cheney and other signifs are in the background. Point is, that according to my bro-in-law GW is truly devoted and attached to the ranch. Texas is his home and refuge. All Presidents have had their escape routes.
