Nemer,

Gordon's idea is a good one. I have a ton of stuff on my various hard drives and use it as a random jukebox through WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER...just have the library set up and once in "all music" hit random..it's hours of non-repeating tunes of all stripes and shades. The only downside is when EMINEM slips in between kdLAng and Steve Earle<g>

If that isn't an option due to your hard wire BOSE (POS IMO) system then the idea of an IPOD or similar system is solid. RIO and Creative make versions with large HARD DRIVES too (10-40 gig and that's a ton O chit)...Any of those types of "players" can and do interact with any system through a basic RCA type input/output. In short it would be the same as hooking up a CD player that's running into your system. You would need to transfer them into the player , preferably in MP3 format to save space, which would require an additional step...BUT, you could take the MP3 player on the road or anywhere you go and have the whole enchilada in tow. Just imagine the friends you could lose by pulling out yer JJ CALE when they're in the mood for their fave Carpenters repeats<g>

If you really want a multi-disk system, (ie..200-400 CDs), then I'd suggest that you quiz sir GLoop. He has all of his stuff in stacks of those PIONEER large capacity CD library thingies. Just pull one of his posts here on the thread and link him to your question
