<So do you still think the PM stocks will be spared in a broad market selloff?? >

One day does not mean a thing

I have been following the PMs intensely since 2001 and I have seen all sorts of combinations of pertubations. In other words I have seen many many examples of the PMs either seemingly tracking the general equities or conversely with the PMs seemingly moving in the opposite direction.

So much so that I have concluded that they are almost unrelated-that the influence of the general equity markets
on the PM stocks is minimal at most.

Having said that I still believe that this stealth bull market in the general equity markets could continue until at least early 2005. I say stealth because very few of us on these threads foresaw it. In fact Elizabeth Andrews is the only person here I am aware of who called the parallel moves in both the general equities and the PMs.

I would not be surprised to see the good old DJI make new all time highs before it is over. That is baring an international or terrorist catastrophe.
