I really liked this line: "Everything local government does is being put on the line by this drastic, drastic reduction," said Chris McKenzie, executive director of the League of California Cities. LOL! Perhaps California's governments shouldn't have gorged themselves with spending they couldn't afford. Then they wouldn't have need of that "drastic, drastic" draconian car tax.
