I hope you have alternate shopping choices. If not, thank God for the internet.

I avoid those big places whenever possible. Last time I went to Home Depot, it was to get a window pane cut. The idiots left a nub in the corner, telling me that was normal, the machine didn't go all the way to the bottom of the glass. That wasn't normal at the town hardware store, where the guy cut by hand!

But I did pick up a gallon of roofing cement for $3.99 while I was there.

$3.99??!! I think the can costs that....
