K thanks for the affirmation on Gordon's idea of iPod/iTunes after Christmas I'll explore the situation and see what I come up with I was considering a multidisc player machine for a present for my sweet wife, but I can see the iPod thingie could provide a better answer. so, you don't care for Bose, eh? I'm verrrrrry favorable disposed to their "small" bookshelf units (appx 5x10x5) .... for the money/sound/space they are hard to beat for me I have some humongous old (10-15yrs) LARGE speaker units ... a pair of Sonys are my fave there ..... rosewood cases with 14" bass and five midrange with two woofers .... heck there nearly as large, being 2ftx3ft as a pair of Seeburgs I got when I was in vending years back ...the Seeburgs were custom made for me by the distributor with whom I did business .. and I have a couple of pair of Kenwoods which are nearly as big as the Sonys .... great sounds from all, but LARGE ....kind like me .. the size, that is .....heh heh heh had to google JJ Cale, as I have/had NO idea who he is... do know the Carpenters, tho ...<gggg> we're going to see this marvelous lady perform in Dallas in Jan .... now, that I'm lookin forward to verrrrrrrry much sarah-brightman.com btw .. saw UT get whipped pretty badly last evening by Lute's SunDevils ..... looks as if they are really missing TJ have you put up the boat for the winter, yet? n
