Mr. Tom Meredith of Vedron reports VEDRON GOLD INC. AND NORTHCOTT GOLD INC.: INITIAL DRILLING RESULTS ON THE DAVIDSON TISDALE PROPERTY, TIMMINS, ONTARIO Vedron Gold and Northcott Gold have released drilling results for the first three holes from the drilling program that commenced mid-November on the Davidson Tisdale property owned by Northcott Gold. Vedron Gold optioned the property on March 14, 2003, and can earn a 50-per-cent interest in the property by spending $5-million on exploration and development over five years. The balance of drilling results from the current program, estimated to be five more holes of the eight-hole, 1,500-metre program, are to be released in early January. Drilling work is being performed on the Main zone, a steeply dipping alteration zone that hosts relatively flat-lying auriferous quartz vein systems (QVS). Previous work has established the presence of five significant QVS veins, situated at surface, 100 feet, 300 feet, 400 feet and 500 feet (surface, 30, 100, 130 and 170 metres). Hole 310-03, 79-degree dip, 315 azimuth The hole intercepted the 400 vein of the Main zone at a depth of 163.0 to 166.4 metres. This hole intercepted an untested portion the quartz vein system: 3.4 metres grading 341.1 grams per tonne, including 1.2 metres grading 962.4 grams per tonne or expressed in imperial units as: 11.2 feet grading 9.95 ounces per ton, including 3.9 feet grading 28.07 ounces per ton. Hole 312-03, 62-degree dip, 150 azimuth Intercepted a new quartz vein system in the main zone at 67.3 to 70.8 metres. Results were 3.5 metres grading 29.9 grams per tonne, including 1.0 metre grading 104.47 g/t or expressed in imperial units as: 11.5 feet grading 0.87 ounce per ton including 3.3 feet grading 3.047 ounces per ton. Hole 311-03, 70 degree dip, 315 azimuth Significant mineralization was intercepted at depths below the known quartz vein systems to test deeper targets, at 263 to 278 metres and 302 to 311 metres. Results were low, but geochemically anomalous. These intervals showed strong alteration and sulphide mineralization similar to that seen proximal to quartz vein systems in the upper levels of the mine system. This is a priority target for the next drilling program. Nine holes, totalling 390 metres, were drilled in the Main zone during September and the results were released on Oct. 21, 2003. All exploration work was conducted under Kenneth Guy, PGeo, designated qualified person for Vedron Gold. Drilling is planned to commence again in January with another 1,500-metre drilling program.
