Want another horse Ish? I leased a stud out to a ranch south of here and the stud was returned because he was supposedly shooting blanks. I went down there on the weekend and one of the three mares had a pretty little stud colt at side. They live in a 2200 acre area that is mostly little valleys and creeks. They only have what grass they can paw at but look fine otherwise. The only reason they did not go for slaughter is the packers here don't buy Arabs. I bought them all for $400. I'm hauling hay and dewormer on Friday and will move them back here after Christmas. The colt is sired by the sire of his dam and was probably born in May of this year. All three mares have papers and the baby will soon.
