Sorry most of the dislike for Bush was there prior to his selection/coronation. Mainly because he was perceived to be DUMB. And a good part of his dislike came about through his dubious right wing policies -- considering he won by a razor thin margin -- it should have behooved on him to govern from the center. Most of the hatred also stems from the fact that he frittered away the world's goodwill in the aftermath of 9-11.
Focus on Al Qaeda and Afghanistan not Iraq.

Forget about Muslims, he is distrusted by people of other religions including Christians in other parts of the world.
