Noticing many of these babies had to revisit there little old lofty perches then retrace like MXIM did from $55 right back down to $48's where it got the first little tradeable bounce today.
That second bounce up for it mid NOV when i posted to you was another short op for MXIM , but with this market easier to stand back from it and look at the charts remembering all the past trading patterns and tops from before. MXIM played out exacty as I thought .
You could see the profitaking begin in earnest at the end of the runs into earns when INTC ran up , but it sold off the next day in earnest . MRVL did exactky the same , and locking in profits EOY was the name of the game. ...that was tipping the hand how they were going to play these , and unwind positions and lock it in . Fundy traders made out well this year , some 30-40% with this incredible run. Made some good points on MRVL too...
I did well with NVEC and didn't let it shake me but should have stayed with it longer after hitting it again near $60 and covered on that first leg down , and only had 1000 shrs total...I'm still waiting for some answers from "people in the know" as to how good this MRAM technology really is . I was late to the party on NVEC but just a little early on it at $55 , first try.
MXIM was perfect though ....it's all been pretty predictable & relaxed trading
;)
PS: My "toytota" call was prety good too , huh baby ? Motor Trend Car of 2004 for the Prius ....major award that one is and really great they are working so hard on this area of hybrids.
(Shhhh... should have been buying MCD's at $12 before dang it , but I got stubborn...the new salads with Paul newman dressing , aren't 1/2 bad , hehe...about time they did something new. I'll live though .)
I was also eying MOND back in Aug, surprised me that the wine cos did this well and has almost doubled . Niceto l;ook at things more relaxed and position trade more . |
