I need some help with a RAID installation.

I purchased a HighPoint Rocket RAID100 controller card for a Dell computer. The operating system is XP Professional.

After connecting the hard drives to the controller card, I find that the drives are recognized but as it commences to go into Windows, it indicates that there is a problem and offers me various options such as going into safe mode, starting normally etc. If I select a normal start, I get a blue screen which states that that to avoid damage to the computer and/or Windows, the operation has ceased.

When I removed the RAID controller card and connected the hard drive to the motherboard, everything was fine again.

I am at a loss as to what to do next. Does anyone have any suggestions?
