DEAN seems more sincere and seems more progressive than either Clinton or Gore.

While I'm a Dean activist, I don't see him as being more progressive than Gore on the environment. Quite the contrary. Dean allowed quite a lot of disputed development to occur in Vermont over his term in office. Gore, OTOH, wrote "Earth in the Balance", a favorite of the ecology crowd, and in some passages, quite radical even by my standards.

As to the fiscal policy of the U.S., Dean has a track record as a conservative and prudent man, unlike the radical spendthrift in the White House today.

To me, Dean is a centrist. And what I love about him is that he's willing to express the anger that I feel toward George Bush who is a dangerously extremee character.
