MSI, if Bush is re-elected, there may be violence in the streets. Howard Dean must win

Gosh, it sounds like you don't believe Junior Bush's "love your neighbor" line he started using is going to work <g>

I think you're right. Now everyone knows (a)Bush is scripted and clueless, (b)others who try to say Bush is sincere are also scripted, (c)it's a much more predatory and dangerous world since this machine took over

It's a feeling of self-defense and even survival among much of the populace.

I'm amused by the pundits spinning out of control looking for hidden motivations in Gore's endorsement... The story shows that it is just that Gore made those great two speeches that hit home, Dean told him he appreciated his POV, and vice-versa.

msnbc.com

"Gore informed Dean of his decision Friday in a 45-minute call during which Dean, riding in his campaign van, spoke in hushed tones. Dean then called his scheduler and inquired about the possibility of getting a larger jet to fly from New York to Iowa, prompting the scheduler to inquire with campaign manager Joe Trippi as to why a scheduled event in Philadelphia was being blown off for a trip to Iowa. When Trippi asked the same question of Dean, he got no answer and thus the wheels were put into motion without the bulk of the campaign being aware of what was happening.
Schein says Gore and Dean had exchanged phone calls every 10 to 14 days since last September when Dean reached out after being impressed by an Iraq policy speech Gore gave. Over the course of the ensuing months, the bond between the two grew and Gore delivered two other speeches Dean liked on behalf of MoveOn.org. Schein says their relationship grew to the point where Tipper Gore got involved in vetting a speech Dean gave on metal healthcare policy three months ago. Yet, the first meeting didn’t take place until November, when the two spoke for 90 minutes at Gore’s home in Nashville.
