The CDC site has lots of interesting info on the flu outbreak:

cdc.gov

The dominant strain is A-fujian at 71% with the rest being A-panama.

The data being talked about is through 11/29 so we are due for an update.

I think we are close to the number of deaths rising to the point that it will constitute and epidemic, 7.5% of reported deaths from flu.
