Jesus was talking to the apostles.

Those under this spell will not admit that.

This would be funny if it were not so sad.

I also would feel sorry for them - but they refuse to be helped.

Jesus said the temple would be torn down
and "not one stone would be left upon another."

That happened in 70 A.D. - to that generation as promised.

These idiots think they are going to rebuild the temple and
reinstitute animal sacrifices, just so it can be torn down again.

What Christian would hope for such a thing?

I sincerely don't think we need feel sorry for them.
