Hello Jay,
"Are we having fun with those relentlessly rising China shares yet? " Jay, relentlessly means mercilessly but somehow media people en masse are using it to mean continually and you have become infected with this wrong usage. Unless you are imagining things from the point of view of a person who is short some H shares. From that point of view the steady rise is indeed relentless. (Today is a small exception, IMO.) Bought cautiously a little more Beijing Capital Land. It's eerie buying some indirect title to land through which coal carrying camels were trudging in my youth. People tell me there are no more camels there now. I hope but certainly wouldn't bet that manacles and shackles on the innocent have also disappeared.
I think long term hold will beat in and out on the China boom. Unless, that is, the P/E's get ridiculous. If that happens I'll try to beat my hero, Jay, to the exit gate.
Chugs.
