I'm very convinced that the world would be a better place, that it'd be more advanced, there'd be fewer folks hungry, there'd be a better overall healhcare system, that we'd have seen fewer dictatorships, more democracies and fewer wars were Carter to have remained president. Perhaps they might even have become a solution to the MidEast.

But we'll never know this.

It's just my gut feeling that an individual with true and sincere feelings is capable of greater accomplishments than one who is manipulative. And, for the most part, America sees only manipulative presidents.
