Yes. Simply stating the obvious, that Bush FA handling is inexperienced, incompetent, and dangerous to the Republic, will have an effect. The next step is showing he's following the agenda of the neocons behind him.
It already shocked the hypnotized GOP when Dean offered to give Bush advice on FA. They are now starting to wake up. Uber-neocon Wm Kristol even wrote a column legitimizing Dean, thereby opening up an ugly can of worms for the neocons who are worried they can't dismiss the obvious much longer. They know it's a house of cards, if the truth ever gets out. The rats will start deserting, whistleblowers start blowing, and indictments fly.
I think a strong ad for Dean, when the Repukes start running their ads against Dean's foreign affair capability, would be for the Mean Deanies to point out that Bush had no foreign affairs ability in the last cycle, and the result has been to get the U.S. stuck in two separate quagmires with (1) no end in sight at huge expense, (2) with ridiculous increases to the national debt and (3) most importantly, for no apparent gain. |
