What makes you think things have deteriorated, when your guru Zogby said right there that they have no reason to believe that opinions have changed substantially?

I would argue that if opinions in our relatively stable country can change overnight, opinions in a war zone, taken from he-knows-not-who, can change in hours.

Zogby, like other pollsters, has his own agenda. Polls are used for swaying opinion as much as measuring it. Old polls are just that -- old news.
