I haven't been there for about 20 years, but the Mill Hill location was gorgeous. The labs were housed in a converted old mansion, right on the edge of (my term, please give local jargon) the green belt. The unit was founded, primarily, to commercialize the work of Greg Winter and compete with Celltech. However, as if usual with Winter, there was conflict.
