"How that got transformed into a claim that Bush lied about the imminency of the threat is one of the more fascinating mental disconnects of Bush's rabid opponents." Within hours of the SOTUA, The LA Times & Sen Kennedy falsely attributed Bush with claiming that Iraq was an "imminent threat". It just grew exponentially from there. It was used to claim Bush lied & misled everyone about going to war, etc. And no one who was part of this treachery has yet to admit how wrong they were about it.
