You don't think combining with the Israelis in forming assassination squads is going to further enrage the jihaddis and insurgents - not only in Iraq but ALL the Arab countries? Also, we tried the same thing in the Vietnam quagmire, and called it the Phoenix program. Perfectly fine in theory, but in practice, they began killing not only bad guys, but guys who MIGHT be bad, and complete innocents. Really won a lot of "hearts and minds".
