I am a Republican, but I will tell you what I think. IMHO the Dems BEST CHANCE at beating Bush would have been Lieberman. Why, cause he is the one who to me appears closest to the middle of the road politics and its pretty hard to dislike the man. The Dems have registered at least 50% of the population so unless their candidate has some kind of WARTS theres no reason for the typical democratic voter to not vote the party line, add a few independents and they would have sewn up the election. THANKFULLY the Democratic leadership is not so SMART AS I AM plus The Good Lord seems to shine down on Bush. Now as an AMERICAN I am glad to see Dean likely get the nomination. Why, cause he represents a clear choice for the people and I for one would like to have this matter settled once and for all DEMOCRATICALLY. jdn
