That's a good point Mike. I would only say if the choice was between a decent meal made by a French company, or an MRE, I doubt the troops would opt for an MRE. I may be wrong, I hear MRE's have gotten a lot better these days. :0)

I would agree that when there is a choice we should give preferential treatment to an American company, and secondarily to a company of one of our allies in the conflict. But, what I'm afraid of seeing happen is a complete ban preventing us from utilizing an organization which is obviously superior and can obviously get the job done faster and with much better quality.

Maybe I am worried about nothing...
