Respectfully disagree on that. Plenty of democrat Catholics. Might even be a majority. And Evangelicals are more diverse than you might think.

If every Catholic and Evangelical voted republican, Gore wouldn't have won a plurality of the vote last election.

His only hope is that no reporter who would pin him down on the question ever gets close enough to ask him.
Any way he answers it will turn off half the voters.
