The reason President Bush resonates with Americans is because he ACTS like an American

Fortunately, I can count enough Americans among former teachers, classmates, colleagues, and friends to know for a fact that there are lots of Americans out there who are cultivated, who read and travel, who don't lie and twist facts as a habit to get their own way, and who actually THINK before acting rather than act on some "gut feeling".

not like some Frenchy or German.

And what do YOU know about what the average French or German national is like? How many times have you ever seen a citizen of either country? Have you ever visited those places? Have you talked to those people to get a feel for what they do and don't do in a given situation?
