On the other hand, I don't see that we should have a say so in that. Denigrating others society and culture is the height of ill informed arrogance. There is no better or best, there is only different. On the other hand that applies to my culture, and I like my differences.

You can never escape bias, so knee-jerk prejudicial fairness must be part of your basic outlook if you want to stay culturally relative.

The Catholics are like tigers, they eat other religions and cultures like tigers eat sheep. They cannot help being biased.

All cultures are biased and like to dominate other cultures. (e.g.fr. over English in PQ) The victorious ones either fight better or breed better. If you don't breed or fight, you will die. This leads to deMorgan's third rule of cultural preservation "Breed, fight or hold the light."
