I have been using mailwasher pro for a while now, it has been greatly since the early program. I am using version 3.3 which i think is the latest. I like it, easy to use. It uses multiple methods of identifying spam (content, origin, your own and other blacklist databases, and a paid service called First alert, which I don't know much about) and gives you the opportunity of deleting it while still on the isp's server. You can bounce it back to the sender if you want, set up is easy to use as well. For example, mine automatically kicks out any email containing the words "viagra, penis, etc.", also any email that is not addressed to me.
