Rhoozeghe <not your cuppa tea? > Place looks like heaven! You're gonna have such a great time there. It's always important to have at least one member of the NNBM in a warm climate at any given time! <g>..it makes the rest of us feel good. Gonna sing the Messiah this weekend. There's a church in Lexington that does this every year....it's a pick up choral group...anyone can come and sing. They do have a small brass and string groups and SATB who are professional singers...but the choir is about 300-400 hundred people that fill the church and who just love to sing the Messiah. It's hilarious...you see signs when you come in like "basses in the balconey" "sopranos front left first 20 pews" and stacks of old Messiah books all dog eared from age. You get young, old and all flavors of people. They practice for about a half an hour and then sing it. It is really fun! A bunch of us go out to dinner and then head for the church. And you know what?....the music always sounds great! Should be fun...we've been doing it the past 5 years. Altair19@alleluia.com
