As always, thanks for your insight. The announcement is particularly relevant to the DiviCom side of the business. Lucent has deep and broad experience in ATM and in sending digital video over networks. Intel and Lucent can do chips. Compaq can do volume production. Microsoft can do anything with "Bill's Bucks." Comcast is effectively on board, too. Lucent has been active in MPEG2 from the beginning. The question is, can the companies work together effectively?
