Thanks for the information, Mike. Unfortunately, SI snipped the part that had your credit card issuer, number, and expiration date. To protect your privacy, you may want to send this to me in a private message.

Political donations are non-deductible, but there are charities that each candidate is associated with. Of course, they are prohibited as a condition of IRS 501 (c) (3) status from making political contributions. However, they use their money to advance their primary purposes. An archaic, and ironic, example is that George H. W. Bush was associated with Planned Parenthood and Head Start. Dunno much about Dean -- would NORML be appropriate? huh huh

The suggestion about making a second donation is very much in the spirit of the contest. Thank you! Also thanks to TD who affirmed his donation though he withdrew from the contest, and to Rick, who suggested also making a donation to the charity of the contest winner. I will not neglect my own charity in addition to donating to Tuck's. It's not the fault of my local Special Olympics that I am far down in the pack with a mere 77% gain.

Without such outstanding competitors/collaborators, I would not have done so well this year. Thanks, all!
