interesting choice of words that is you do not condone [or condemn] terrorism but you do condemn those who fight it.

Is not it the same as saying that you are ok with terrorism and strongly oppose those who infringe on the right of terrorists to kill and torture soldiers and civilians alike - you are true humanitarian

re: Being as brutal as those you fight doesn't confer any legitimacy to your effort

that is insult to israelis and amrican soldiers who put themselves in harms way to preserve lives of civilians whenever possible
