Bill, any idea how the Kinross sell-off of PacRim shares, announced after closing yesterday (Friday), will affect price? The announcement said that it would be an ordered sell-off, but it's over 20% of PacRim shares. It's sure to cause a downward effect, given that buyers know that in the end Kinross will sell at any 'reasonable' price. It would be interesting to know why Kinross wants to get out at this time, given that PacRim seems on the verge of going higher. Unless they know something the rest of us don't about the latest drill results, it can only mean that Kinross needs the money pretty desperately. Wonder which one it is? Maybe Kinross has already been unloading shares, and it has been keeping the price down?
