That's the reason to be very bullish on oil and oil producers. All commodities are going to be affected by Chinese industrialization no matter what we Americans think or feel about this. Much higher USA gasoline prices are almost a certainty for the next ten years at least, no matter what discoveries are made, no matter what happens to Iraq. USA consumption per capita is going to fall during this period.

It just may be that Saudi Arabia is the global Achilles heel and will be the target of increased terrorism. For now and the future, oil is the game, I think.

Let's not forget uranium either as it does provide a solution. There's a company in Canada called Cameco that has uranium and gold production that has moved from C$30 to C$70 in the past 8 months. Something's up in a world that you say "it ain't going to happen."
