Hello Kastel, I happened to ask in the last CC if SILW was similar to SVI and Bernie (their president) snapped back at me that their business model was entirely different than SVI's.

Actually, for SVI's DigiMerge product I believe the business model is similar, i.e. get a national distributor such as ADT (i.e. Honeywell) to peddle your product. But for the other stuff, its basically the same as any other electronics company, that is line up big retailers and get your product on their shelves.

This industry kinda reminds me of the PC industry in the 80's & 90's, where every 2-3 years there'd be a huge change to the technology that would make whatever you had at the time obsolete, which would make you go out and buy all new stuff even though your present stuff was working just fine. Right now the big change is from analog to digital.
