First of all I'm not an atheist.

Well, this is clearly just more leftist dishonesty. You are not accountable to any God worth anything that he would countenance your literal support of the plain murder of an innocent human being. This religion you claim is just empty atheism– and you know it.

Second, Our government supports no religion, which is not the same as supporting atheism.

When government forces children to parrot the evolution crap they must parrot in the schools, government supports atheism whether you will be honest about it or not. When government teaches kids that homosexuality is acceptable and normal, despite that this finding is not based upon any objective fact, government ultimately teaches a worldview that is religious. Parents of kids who reject the philosophical naturalism (atheism) that allows for this godlessness just ought not be forced to pay for it, whatever you may think of their view.

But you just keep taking their money to push your godless religion upon them while demanding their religious views be completely eliminated from the public square. Your view is religious. You've simply renamed it in the leftist attempt to marginalize your competition. That is dishonest and yet leftists have been doing it for nearly a century.

Government has no business pushing religious worldviews. The Founders wanted a minimalist government wherein people are free to associate and based upon those associations form cooperatives to fund their own education and worldview. The Founding government would not support ANY religion, but it would also allow any religion to freely exist and exercise in the culture. What you have done is a travesty. You have, by default, stolen money from others to fund your view, which you call "secular," (as if this is no religion).

There is no cost associated with the operation of a secular government.

This is pure leftist pigwater. You have simply controlled the language here, and that is intellectually dishonest. You have erected a religion that actively wars against religion (actually just Christianity) and called it "secular," as if such renaming makes your religion innocuous. You really ought to gain just a little integrity for a change and deal honestly with those with whom you disagree.

One can only imagine the cost of government if we were to allow religion to control government.

Well, very few people wish to allow religion to "control government." Even Moore in Alabama didn't wish to allow religion to “control government.” This statement of yours is just more leftist crap, spurted here to reframe the reality so that leftists will keep nodding in agreement. You really ought to be more honest. Moore simply wished to preserve the religious status quo in his state. If you had a shred of integrity, you would be foaming about religion in the National government too. The people of Alabama were doing nothing that the people of America haven't done since the nation began.

Visit the United States Supreme Court building. There you will see three depictions of **GASP** The Ten Commandments including a depiction of the Hebrew Prophet, Moses. The fact is, you are all demon-possessed against the same Ten Commandments in Alabama because a living person who actually believes them put them in place (grin). Leftists are such trashy hypocrites.

Since at least 1787, the year our Constitution was written, the Supreme Court has started its day by these words, shouted publicly by the Sergeant of Arms-- “God bless the United States and this Court.” Surely the Founders hated such mingling of church and state. They must have somehow accidentally started this clearly religious tradition, much to the chagrin of Atheists. This is religious zealotry. The Founders hated this, right? In the Supreme Court of all places! (Oh no! – Lawd hep me! Uh, I mean godlessness hep me, hep me!) Orc, do something! LOL

And while you are at it, go see the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence at the National Archives building. On your way you will pass **GASP** (Can it be?), those much dreaded Ten Commandments (the horror!), the same Ten Commandments you claim represent ‘Zealots Controlling the Government.’ Surely your hypocrisy ought to make even you throw up on yourself.

No? Well, once you remove the Ten Commandments from the Supreme Court, as you’ve moved them from Alabama’s little court, go to the Capitol building. In the House Chambers, behind the speaker are the words “In God We Trust.” Since our government has, according to your lies, 'always been "secular"', those words must have just kinda got up there by deyselves. OH NO! WE GOT HEAVEN AFTA US! GODLESSNESS HEP US! HEP US! IT LOOKS LIKE GOD IN HEAVEN AND ANGELS AND STUFF IS TRINETA BLESS US. CALL DE DEMONS! CALL DE DEMONS!

And of all things PLEASE go to Philadelphia and take the Scripture from the Book of Leviticus off of the Liberty Bell. I mean dang! WHAT’S THAT? Dass some mo magical mess deah! Leviticus just hopped up on the dang Liberty Bell! The Founders obviously didn’t want that. HEP US! HEP US GODLESSNESS, HEP US! DE BIBLE DONE ATTACKED OUR LIBBIDY BELL!

If you wish to destroy American tradition then fine, destroy it. God knows you’ve destroyed pretty much everything else that is worth anything. But you ought to be honest and destroy all religion from public places, even your secularism. This means you will champion minimal government and law based merely upon the protection against the theft and assault of human life and property. In such a system there is just no room for leftists to teach schoolkids how to use condoms by putting them on bananas - which they now do. The morality of sex ought to be left to families and if families will not teach their children, no one ought to be forced to pay for your godless worldview to be taught them. There is also no room for telling kindergarteners that homosexuality is normal, directly assaulting the religious (and natural) sensibilities of millions of people.

But you do not wish to be fair, Orc. And you do not wish to leave people be. You wish to take, take, take, and ultimately destroy everyone’s way of life-- except those who believe your empty heathenism.

That really is the leftist way. It really is. And even many leftists fracture under such a system, at least subconsciously. That is why both conservative and leftist business leaders are shipping allegiance and jobs to other countries. They intuitively sense that their "home" offers them no compelling reason to maintain loyalty to you or any other American. Protection is better promised them by getting work done on the cheap. Were they to sense that no one is out to take their profits other than to support minimalist government, and that the government was truly interested in giving them such freedom that they could pursue their dreams fairly unimpeded by leftist crap, they would stay - even if it meant they would have to pay a little more to do it. Costs at home would be a lot lower, and the savings promised by shipping overseas would just not be worth the risks involved.

But hey. Keep being godless if you must, and keep stealing, as is your habit. Others of us will just keep doing end runs around you – and the “haves” will just keep getting and the “have nots” will just keep losing until they begin to starve. No one owes them a thing – not a thing because your “secular” government is going to take care of them. (grin)

We'd have every zealot in the land trying to remake the government in the image of their particular religion.

Well that is already the case, except you are the zealot.

This is the mess that your kind would foist upon the nation. Thank god we have constitutional protection from this form of proselytizing.

I am only doing what the Founders did. You are the wicked novelty here – not I. I merely wish for freedom to do my thang without having some slimy left hand constantly trying to steal from me to pay for leftist Sodomites, godlessness and murder. You ought to pay for this crap on your own friggin’ dime, chile’.

But hey, your godless religion tells you all this crap is good and that you have a right to force others to support it. Okay, but you only prove to others that you and they have little in common and that they owe you not even a shred of loyalty – not even respect as a fellow **ahem** “American.”

Family life, morality and religion are individual pursuits, and are not regulated by the government.

When the government teaches little children that being a Sodomite is normal and good, it makes a judgment on family life and morality that ought to be left solely to the parents of those children. Your “secular” government does this crap all the time and in a variety of ways. Well, I for one don’t need your religious crap. It was never part of American philosophy. Until you came along, we were for the most part trying to live in freedom.
