If you are asking whether, in 2002, the US was certain that Iraq possessed WMDs, I don't know of any statement where a US official could 100% assert this to the affirmative.

That's exactly what I was asking. I would have thought that was perfectly clear and US officials on numerous occasions said they were 100% certain.

When you declare to the government that you have only made $100,000 for tax purposes.....

An utterly ridiculous parallel...

Then the problem you'll face is that NEVER has the UN DIRECTLY authorized the use of force to enforce binding Chapter VII UNSC resolutions. NEVER...

As I said in the earlier post, I believe that the veto power of the permanent members is a significant obstacle and the veto power should be abolished [I won't hold my breath].

They finally provide the document disclosing that they lied about those 6,000 warheads, but never provided any accountability for them. That's not cooperation.

They were in the process of attempting to scientifically show that the warheads were destroyed. The US stopped it.

Personally, I would like to see France's permanent membership revoked since it is now part of the EU. It's apparent that it's views do not properly refect the views of other EU members.

Like Germany? Why don't you say what you mean? A country shouldn't have veto power if they disagree with the US. Bush said he was going to make the French vote and Bush backed down.
