well Peter, I guess my response is "whatever".
It seems to me that too many variables have passed between FDRs time and Bush's time to make any kind of relevant comparison. The fact is that we won WWII and had 30 years of prosperity afterward, so whatever damage FDR caused was mitigated.

Now, back to Bush. How about comparing his fiscal policies to Clinton, a democrat?
