Now this is an interesting turn of events. I do wonder how Wolfowitz and the other Bushies are going to spin this episode of impudence and democracy. Clearly this isn't what the neo-cons had in mind when they spouted off about "Democracy in the Region" so many months ago.

I rather suspect they've lost their chance to impose a quisling administration in Iraq and call it (mockingly) democracy.
