Dean is getting terrible press now that Gore has endorsed him and some (like me) have said it's all over (but the voting). Ths changes everything. ABC just did a piece that was very negative. They showed DEan denying he was ever a strong supporter of NAFTA, then played a clip of him saying he's a strong support of NAFTA. A few more like that and he'll sink in the polls fast. Dean has one thing going for him, five other candidates dividing up the rest of the vote. None of the others seem anywhere near ready to quit. On the contrary. Therefore this could still go all the way to the convention. Another wild card are notoriously contrarian New Hampshire voters. They always seem to surprise the predictions and defy the polls. The way it looks now, the other five candidates could all pick up ground in NH, especially Kerry. Last week's poll showed him only 14% behind. That's spitting distance in fickle NH.
