I never claimed that, but since Bush has taken over the recession has continued to be deep and painful for many.

With negative job growth, off shoring of good paying jobs and deficit spending, old GWB doesn't have much to trumpet about in 2004. It's likely that the fed will hold interest rates steady through the next 6 months, and then as we approach the elections they're not likely to raise them either. But after the election, I'd expect that interest rates will begin to rise again. Who ever is sworn in in January 05 will be looking at some real tough economic problems. Bush has no plan, except to spend more money on a moon shot. What an idiot!
