I just took a look, for the first time in many months, at the two pseudo portfolios ($100k each) I constructed from the 5 least and the 5 most favored stocks in the 2002 competition. The stars are not yet at par, still way down at $70k, while the dogs come in at $123k. I should have printed out the values on 12/31/2002 but unfortunately didn't do that.
