The video of Saddam Hussein, being poked and probed is quite telling. Whereas all former footage of him showed him in full control. . .as a dictator, a politician and a military leader. . . . now he is merely seen as a captured war criminal awaiting trial. It was quite a fall. But not to romanticize it any, let us never forget that this was a murderous dictator. . . and is undoubtedly deserving of whatever justice he receives. I doubt the celebration will continue far past the borders of Iraq, as the rest of us question the future of coalition presence in Iraq. And then there is Afghanistan. And how would the capture of either Saddam or Bin Ladin or both affect terrorism within the world? Will the number of suicide bombings now decrease? Could the world be truly a safer place without these leaders? Or are there similar leaders waiting in the wings? Rande Is
