Clinton shot (I think) 300 Cruise missiles at Osama and had organized a squad of covert Pakistani Osama killers to go into Afghanistan and murder him. The Cruise missile attacks were the only way he could attack militarily inside Afghanistan as the place is so landlocked that planes couldn't even make the trip without permission from Pakistan which was not available until after 9-11 when we made a multi billion dollar deal with Musharaf. Clearly it was not enough, but then again Bush hasn't been able to find him either despite all out war against him for years. I was surprised to see what condition Saddam was in today. Looks like he's been hiding in holes with very little support. SO he hasn't been the one organizing resistance. Osama may be the same by now, or dead. New people have taken over. Osama may actually be irrelevant now except symbolically. Saddam is a great symbolic capture who may also give us intel about billions of dollars, who's attacking us and WMD's. Osama the same.
